dual channel memory

how do i know if my sticks of ram are dual channel memory. I was reading some reviews about the mobo I bought and it said it doesnt support dual channel memory. From what ive read on the internet companies will market 2 sticks of ram that are compatible, and that makes a dual channel memory stick. Im pretty sure I dont have it, since the 2 sticks im gonna use werent sold together, they do run at the same speed, but they were bought at 2 different times.

also DIMM is different from dual channel correct?

Ya, you're best off buying them in the packs by two, that say "Dual CHannel" on them, lol.

nah, the thing is that my mobo won't support dual channel memmory, so I want to make sure i dont have dual channel mem, or else it looks like ill have to return the board.

i bought my 4 sticks seperately 4 times.

just make sure they are the same speed and cas latency.

damnit, i think i just screwed myself over by buying that board. I read a couple of reviews and they said that they werent able to get over 2.26 ghz on a 2100+, and that the max that the fsb could reach was 205.

shit, all i wanted to get was 2.3ghz.

chill dude, you got $65-70, you can get a decent AMD board, dual channel + all.

hopefully I get a good board. I mean I was looking for a budget minded mobo, and some of the other ones I was looking at in the beginning were like 40 bucks but people here convinced me those were crap. So I hope that I can atleast get 2.3ghz with my 2400+ xp-m.
