just bought a second stick of 512ddr 3200 ram to run in dual with my other 512ddr 3200, i have them in the right slots , but still reads it as single channel???

This is for the desktop in your sig right?

Did you look in the BIOS to see if dual-channel was enabled?

yes thats my exact motherboard here is a screenshot of single channel showing active and also the memory settings

Looks like you have single and sided RAM mixed in. That generally doesn't work very well. Also, from the manual you should install the RAM in slots 2/4 for the best dual channel performance (1/3 seems to automatically run at 2T).

Correct me if i'm wrong, but don't 939 motherboards need the odd numbered slots for dual-channel, not the slots directly infront of each other? Try installing the ram in slots 1 and 3, or 2 and 4.

when you say double sided do you mean there is ram on both sides of the stick becuse if thats the case then both sticks have ram on each side of it

That is what I mean.

the screen you posted here suggests that the RAM is in slots 3/4 as well. I take it from your post after that you have switched them?
