dual channel with ddr2

is that possible? i duno i always thought it was... like..
ddr2 is effectively dual channel, ddr2 800 would be about the same speed as ddr400 in dual channel, of course timings are different...
but ddr2 800 in dual channel... NICE... that would be like 11 or 12gbps.
and i believe dual channel has to do with how many memory controllers are in the processor (or for intel, on the northbridge correct?)
wouldn't that double the bandwidth with socket AM2?

Dual channel mode creates primary and secondary channels for memory. The
concept there is to reserve some memory for essential background services on
a secondary while memory demanding programs can be run on a primary. Your
mother board manual or support site if a complete system will indicate which
memory slots are to have dimms in them. Dual channel requires more then one
memory module be installed in the appropiate slots.

did you read what i asked?
i know what dual channel is. i was asking if ddr2 could in fact support it.
by the way, "reserving memory" blah blah, DUAL CHANNEL ULTIMATELY DOUBLES BANDWIDTH...
much like "ddr" memory, dual data rate.
ddr2 is the same, only quad pumped... much like dual channel ddr.
what i was asking was, can ddr2 be used in dual channel, ultimately making 100mhz work about as fast as 800mhz... so regular ddr2 533 would be like ddr2 1066... wow that would be cool. unnecessary though, quite unnecessary. anyone know?
