Dual Core Celeron questions

Guys instead of just saying that the old Pentiums sucked why don't you just say Netburst architecture with a Prescott chip sucked? You guys are confining it down too low... The E1200 is awesome, I look for that to be hitting classroom use VERY soon. Any of the Allendale based Pentiums are great.. And since those are based on the C2D, C2D = KILLA!

My advice -- Get an E1200, the LGA775 Socket will last a bit longer... If you were to go with a X2 you will wind up with an AM2 socket and AMD is phasing those out in favor of the AM2+ and I heard of a near future AM3. So for the sake of upgrading go with an Intel.

My P166 uses Netbust Architecture :eek: Is it REALLY that old? :eek:

Aren't AM2 socket processors compatible with a AM2+ socket motherboard?
