dual core in core2duo motherboard???

Would a regular dualcore processor work fine in a motherboard which says it supports...Intel Core 2 Duo / Pentium D / Pentium 4. Or would I only be able to use a core2duo?

a core2duo is a dualcore just Intels name for it... amd calls them x2 just make sure you get a intel because thats what the board supports

What kind of processor are you looking to put in it? The mobo can support more than just core 2 duos.

This was the one I was looking at. I'm trying to make an inexpensive computer that has enough performance for what I need. I'm only going to be running one program on it for my DJ business to ,ic music through. (Building it more inexpensive so I can buy two and have one for backup)
