i was looking at this motherboard and im a noob and i was wondering if this motherboard is dual cored or not http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813188004 thanks :D

The motherboard isn't dual core, the CPUs can be dual core, motherboards have to support it.
...
According to that site
CPU Socket Type: Socket T (LGA 775)
CPU Type: Intel Pentium 4 Prescott/Celeron D

Prescott is a dual-core right? If so then this mother must support dual core CPUs

Prescott's are only Pentium 4's, the Pentium D's are either a Smithfield or a Presler.

According to some reviews, if you want to have a dual-core CPU on that motherboard you need to flash the BIOS with a new one. But some people said that it didnt work for all Pentium D's. I would go with a motherboard that natively (out of the box) supports the Pentium D.
