Hey peeps.
Need your help.

Just a small problem, or maybe it's something ive overlooked but I can't add a secondary display.
I mean in the control panel (Nview desktop manager) I can enable it, but the only options i get are the below

I don't want to span my display. I just want to enable my secondary display as a normal screen.
When i go to display properties I can't get enable secondary display like it's normally available on laptops, mine is just like below

how can I just make my spare monitor a secondary without spanning ?

this thing is really getting to me... I hate spanning

Try this; Go to the nvidia panel and go use the "Only use one single display" option. Then go to the windows properties, that should now show both monitors, you should then be able to "enable" the secondary monitor as an extension.

sniper thanks, however it didn't work. I just downloaded a newer driver for my card. that enabled the dual option thingy in desktop properties. I didn't realize i was still using the driver off the cd :P

In market you can find a monitor sharing switch available. You have to just press the button within a switch to swap the CPU.
