dual grahpics card

iv got a new dual graphics card. i cant get it to work on my monitor,
its an S.I.S with a video output. i have an old box monitor.
could that be why.
or do i need two monitors to even get anything.

btw when i turn the monitor on,
it flicks to green, then back to orange.

Could you provide some more information on the card? Model and such. No, you do not need two monitors to make it work, and no, the type of monitor shouldn't matter. Are you sure the computer works? From your previous post, it seems this machine is a new one. Or vise version; have you or can you test the video card in another machine?

im not to sure about the machine,
iv had the motherboard out, etc
all looks ok,
i kant test anything tho because,
iv got no other desktops
i mainly use laptops.

That card looks prehistoric. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work on a single monitor...

Sounds like an ancient card, as Creative hasn't made video cards for years.

Are you able to take a picture of your monitor and or inside the computer?

Be carerful because some cards will go into computers but don't have drivers that support XP or Vista, they may only be supported for windows 2000 or windows 98.
