Hello i have a motherboard that support dual graphic card can any1 tell me why you would run 2 graphics at the same time

Thanks in advace

Graphical advance in your game play

it works better and allows games to be played at max with less stress

there really are only two reasons:
using multiple monitors and increasing game performance.
oh, and to be hip, all the cool kids are doing it, try it, you'll like it... ;)

thats not true. i have duel monitor 24". say im editing a picture with photoshop. i can have the orginal on one screen and edit on the other. i can see the difference. On the other hand for conversation. i dont print many documents while trying to follow the instructions. instead of printing for example. i can bring up a manual in pdf for a program on one screen. start the program on the other and follow the instructions. very nice for that. editing mostly in CS, macro assembly on one screen and a symbolic debugger on the other screen while trying to fix my problems. works well. i think others have a use for it also.

The performance goes through the roof when you have 2. You can have "up to" twice the performance, both in shader quality and flop output, you will probably never actually get 2x the power though.

Also, read what tremmor said, the dual screen is the other reason and he points out why you would want that perfectly

Oh, one more thing. If you already have 1 card and want a cheap way to increase its performance, rather than buying a barnd new better card you can buy another ok casrd that you already have and that will boost performance at a lower price than that of buying an all singy all dancy one that will give similar performance to that of 2 of the lower model ones
