Dual Graphics Cards

Hello! Does anyone know if you can split the 2 screens in usage with 2 graphics cards for a total of 4 displays on 2 monitors? I am a stock trader and would like to have 4 screens. Also, do you think 21" monitors would be sufficient to divide and still see the data? Thanks!

Sorry you lost me. :o

Do you mean you want to use 4 21" monitors with 2 video cards?

Or did you want to use 4 21" monitors with split pictures on each?

He wants to split two monitors into four screens using two graphics adapters.

Sorry about the confusion, and thanks for the reply. I want to use 2x21" monitors split in half making 4 total display surfaces. Possible with 2 grahics cards? With 1 monitor I can split it in half, and have done so but the screens are difficult to practically see/use with my current 17" monitor.

I'm guessing you could do that with one graphics card, although I'd suggest reading through that entire multiple displays thread. You may find your answer.

Actually you don't need graphics adapters. Windows lets you do it...The link offered does not answer the question as far as I can see, but thanks for the try!

I prefer Sundays personally. Sometimes Tuesdays make me feel like a dead man walking after a blast from Giant Robot.

Anyways, back to the thread at hand...

You'll have to forgive me, I know nothing about this subject, but I do know that you can run two monitors with one graphics card. So, if you successfully split one monitor into two screens, I'd imagine that you could simply plug in your other monitor into the same video card and split that monitor as well.
