How do I know if my burner supports?

Edit: It's a SONY DVD+-RW AW-Q160S but I'm not sure if it should say DL in the name or what..

Edit again: I just looked up the e-docs of this on dell.com and it supports DL write/read/play on +R but only read/play on -R. I can buy a DVD+RW DL disc and burn to that with Nero 8?

I don't see why not if that's what it says it supports.

Ok I'll buy a disc or 10 (whatever pack they come in) tomorrow and report my findings back here.

If they don't, you can upgrade to a new burner for about $30, perhaps less if you look around.
