Dual moniter help

Hi guys, basically what im asking is, i have 2 moniters, one being my phillips 230c and the other being my toshiba 32" HD tv and was wondering if i could play a film on the toshiba whilst doin work on my philips. my computer is way more than powerful enough to do this and my graphics card supports it, i have windows 7 by the way

i have my computer and philips connected via some white lead, i think its better than vga

and my computer is hooked up to my television via HDMI lead

can someone help me ?

what gpu do you have? yes you can do that. i often watch tv on one and surf the internet or do something else on the other.
