Dual Monitor problem

Ok, well, I have 2 19" LCD monitors.

One is an analogue input (call this M1), as is the other(call this M2). The 'other' one will be DVI input once I get a cable.

I have M1 on my left, as it has a headphone jack built-in, and my headphone cable is rather short. It's easier to have it on left-hand side. I have M2 on right-hand side.

I've fiddle with my settings, but can't get it right. I have start menu on M1, which is good. However, to get mouse cursor onto M2, i have to move it LEFT, rather than RIGHT, to get it there.

If I switch the cables around, the mouse movement is perfect (move right to get to right-hand screen), but the start menu jumps over to the other screen.

How do I get the start menu to stay on left monitor, but mouse movement to be as it should be.

I do have unimon installed, so if there is a solution through that program, please tell me.

What kind of video card are you running? This is generally a setting where its reversed. To start off go to your display settings and tell it to identify the monitors and ensure they are as you want them 1 on the left and 2 on the right. Make sure as well that on the bottom under the settings for monitor 2 it says stretch my desktop onto this computer as well

A HA HA. All I had to do was drag box 1 to the other side.

A-DUH! *hits self in head*

Annoyingly, my new monitor has 2 dead pixels, next to each other.
