Dual Monitor Setup Help !

ok i have dual monitors , and i havea problem while playing games and talking online, so ive seen this before where ppl who play WOW and they can easily switch to the next screen to use an Instant messenger with out having to push ALT+TAB. HOW DO I DO THAT , ( I PLAY BF2142)

Play WoW windowed. That way it doesn't minimize every time you click off screen.
