Dual Monitor Windows 7

I have read many a forum post trying to play my games in dual monitor spec on a Windows 7 machine. Using XP you can strect the display over 2 screens and when you start a game both monitors act as one extra widescreen monitor. But in Windows 7 this is not possible.

Now I want to use Windows 7 as have NVidia 3D vision and 2 x 3D monitors, and 3D Vision is not available for XP.

Now I can't find anywhere a work around for this problem. I can use XP and lose the ability of 3D (which after what I spent is not worth it) or I can use Windows 7, and only use one of my screens (3D or not).

Has anyone had any success in dual screen gaming 3D or not with Windows 7, and if so how?

Many Thanks

I run Windows 7 OS and use ATI Radeon cards with Catalyst Control Center software. I can activate Eyefinity and play games on dual monitors. But I'm not familiar with Nvidia software. There must be a way to maximize resolutions across both displays...
