Dual Monitors: Matching Color

Hey, I run a dual monitor setup with two 17" BenQ flat screens and I have to say, having a dual monitor setup is wonderful. Unfortunately though I can't ever seem to get the colors to match just right between the two monitors. If i set all the color setting exactly the same on both monitors, the color is still not the same. When I drag an image over so that it appears on both monitors, the colors are completely different between monitors.

Does anyone know anything that can help or is it just a guess and check kind of thing until I get both monitors matching close to perfect?

If it's drastically different there may be a problem with your monitor, otherwise you just need to fool around with the settings until they match as close as possible.

Allright, yeah there is no drastic difference, I'm just very picky so I guess I'll have to keep messing around when I have time. I just didn't know if there was any kind of program that could work along side the hardware drivers to help out. I guess that wouldn't be too possible though.

-Thanks for the reply

If they're the exact same monitors, try to find the factory setting, if that doesnt check out then either the monitor or the video card is faulty. (i doubt it though)

You can find monitor calibration software that works with duel screens. Also I believe that Nvidia's drivers have it built in. Not so sure about ATi.
