Dual monitors on this?

If the resolutions are the same, it'll work. But whenever you click on AIM or CF, the game will scroll down (in my case).

Yeah i worked in an engineering office using dual monitors and loved it. Its great, I would love to have it here at home.

Is the true about the gaming? That you need to disable the second monitor in order to play the game. Does anyone else have some experience with this? Thank you.

It's best if you have both monitors in the same resolution. Other wise your screen is going to go crazy flickering for a while when the game starts and stops. I've run dual monitors (and tri-monitors) before with 1 or two graphics cards, x850pro, FX5500 and not the 8800GT, games are not affected by them.

What about wow, thats the main game i play. I would love to have wow running on one screen and then aim windows and CF on the other, lol
That generally doesn't work very well. With the games I play, BF2, CSS, Crysis, COD4, the game minimizes when I click out onto the second window. So you can keep your window there and look at it, but clicking them will cause you game to go *poof*.

If you have two different monitors (Like in my case a 17" CRT (1024x768) and a 22" Widescreen (1280x720) and it moves around the 17" quite a bit when it changes resolutions. (Moves my object-dock around.....grr)

Damn so maybe this will not be such a good idea afterall. I think I am going to experiment with one of my roommates monitors first and see what happens. thank all
