Dual Monitors Question

I'm looking to get dual monitors, Ive already got Samsung T220 and im going to get another one so i can have 2 monitors to 1 pc. Im thinking about getting this graphics card that has a VGA and dvi-d inputs on it. My monitor atm is using the VGA input on the motherboard.

Ive only got a standard DDR Motherboard, but that suits me fine because i don't play pc games and nothing like that. mainly use it for work and browsing.

I was wondering if i have 1 monitor going to the VGA input and the 2nd monitor to the dvi-d input, will this work or do both inputs on the graphics card have to be same to dual?
Ive got Male DVI-D To Female VGA adapter so then both inputs will be vga.

Can someone advise me on what i should do. thanks

So everything's going to be run off your new graphics card, correct? If so, then it makes no difference what outputs you use on the card. VGA/DVI/TV-Out... Any two can be used at the same time.

yes thats correct. thanks for the fast reply. i just like to find every detail out lol before purchases to save disappointment lol

Its because all the videos on youtube i saw of peoples dual setups had 2 DVI inputs on it and it got me wondering lol

Thanks for your help.
