Ok so I now have dual CRT monitors. I have a really good Dell 15" CRT as my main and a pretty crappy generic 14" CRT as my secondary but it works. Anyways, when the secondary is on, the Dell kind of flickers a little just enough to make it annoying. Then when I turn the secondary off, The Dell stops flickering. Why is this? All my PC specs are in my sig.
 
It's probably something to do with your video card. It possibly has issues with it's dual monitor support. Have you tried downloading and installing the newest drivers from the manufacturer website. They sometimes fix little glitches like that in new releases if it is a common problem with that card.
 
When you use dual monitors your graphics card escenntialy gets split in half. Probably the refresh rate dropped.
 
Ok I updated my video card drivers and that didn't fix it. I'm thinking it's just my video card that can't handle two monitors.
 
yeah, some models just aren't designed to do that where as others are designed with that specific purpose in mind.
 
What is the refresh rate on the Dell monitor when using only it and what is it when using both monitors?
