Dual Monitors

You can use two different sizes if you want. I use a 22" LCD and a 17" CRT. I just don't have them at the same resolution, but it works fine for me.
 
Well it depends on what setting it's on. If they're acting as one huge monitor is better to have 2 of the Same monitors because then it will be perfect instea of taking the lowest resolution and make it look distorted and out of proportion.

But if you have the monitors as two different screens like they're free, it doesn't matter on the sizes. I for one am using one 19" Wide screen and one 19" regular. I have the wide screen as my main and the other as whatever

my 19" resolution 1440X900 My other is1280X960
 
It's really personal preference. I use a 22" widescreen as my main, mostly to play games, while using a 19" regular to surf the web and manage other programs.

I actually prefer having a widescreen + regular due to my are being a bit smaller and my secondary monitor at an angle facing me. If I were to get another widescreen, It'd look funny and be hanging off my desk.

Just my two cents =)
 
Depends if your having it as extended moniter or mirror moniter

extended would be fine and look ok and now i think about it mirror moniter would be good to
 
How do you make the monitors act separate?

I have tried the dual monitor thing before and all i saw was how to make the screens have the same thing on them, and how to make the screens one big screen. But i have no idea how to make it so that the screens act as two separate screens.
