Dual Monitors

I have a spare monitor. To do dual-monitors would I attach monitor #2 to the 2nd DVI port on my card or will I need a second card?

Does the second monitor you have only have VGA as a connection or something?

If your video card has two outputs, you can connect two monitors. Then you change the display settings in the OS if you want them to be mirrored or extended display.
