what are the differences between using a single BIG mon and a set of dual mons regardless of price?

if i want to play a video in the 2 dual mons , will a portion of video play on a mons and the another portion play on the second mon?if not , how can i configure it?

how to change the screen from horizontal to vertical?

how to connect multiple mons to a notebook?

It's much cheaper to buy two smaller monitors such as two 24" LCD's, then it is to buy a large single monitor of the similar size. When you play games it will be split between both, so the crosshair in FPS games will be right in the middle between both displays.

I like multiple monitors better because I'm not much of a gamer. I like being able to have multiple windows maximized in different monitors, rather than having one window maximized over multiple monitors. To do that over a single monitor you would have to have a separate piece of software that divided the one monitor into multiple.
