You could sell all your current hardware and get a computer that has SLi and a pretty nice CPU. Just an idea...

you are wrong good sir

There is thought that the "newer" ones were fixed, so you have to bridge the L5 fuse on the chip. They are laser etched to keep you from just slapping on some conductive paint, so you need to follow this procedure:

http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/20011112/

That is for unlocking multipliers. You do use that procedure on the last L5 fuse.

So use that procedure on this fuse:

I don't suggest just using the paint without the super glue, as the cut between contacts hits a layer of grounded copper leaf. so if you get conductive paint in there that is bridged to the L5 contacts, it grounds the whole thing and defeats the point. So you need to insulate it with super glue first.

I had a friend that ran dual MP's on a Tyan board and was very satisfied. I think Asus makes a good one too. You pretty much can't go wrong with either of those two companies

asus discontinued there dual mp board , is there anywere to buy them?. tyan tiger is still selling but only supports 266 fsb and my xp runs at 333..... can that be avoided or does it real even matter. what if i get one that supports both dual mp and single xp .... that should let me use higher fsb.

It isn't a problem, you'll just have to run 266MHz which will be somewhat slower, and you'll have to raise your multi. If you can get it to overclock, you could try running 333MHz, but of course no guarantee. With dual processors, sometimes overclocking is very hard.

been looking for couple hours now. tried finding a 166mhz board with pc2700 ddr...... dont exist been trying to find a mod for the motherboard to run faster, dont see anything but im probly looking in the wronge spot. mabie i should look into an unregistered motherboard... if they exist
