Dual Weilding Monitors...

I have 2 monitors plugged in to my PC and would like to know the best way of gewtting options regarding them. Off the top of my head i can think of extending your previous desktop, mirroring your primary screen, watching a movie on one with desktop on the other, Splitting a movie so its uber-widescreen across both monitors. Is there any software out there that will open up these doors to me? Thanks...
 
when u plug the second monitor go to control panel>screen>right click on the second monitor>choose connected.
now you computer recognize the 2nd monitor. go to properties and choose if you want the mirror(same screen like monitor n1), 50%(extends the screen on both monitors) or monitor n1 off(it turn off the monitor n1 and u will just be able to use the monitor n2)
