dual xeons vs quad core

Just was wondering would this build with dual xeons be good for gaming I know they have an 8mb cache, 1.6ghz and are quad cores also what would they be equivalent too?

i wouldnt recommend it, the clockrate is low, and its pretty much a socket 775 chip, so more cores/threads wont do you any good if the game wants higher clockrates. go with a true quad
 
Xeon's aren't meant for gaming, they're meant for raw server processing, which means they're designed differently than standard desktop chips. You're best off going with an i5 2500K.
