Dualboot windows vista and 7, one on each hard drive?

I have two hard drives, one already has vista on it. Could I install 7 on the other one without affecting my vista? And could I share files (games even?) between them?

You can install 7 on the other hard drive. You can share files, but you'll need to reinstall any games you want to run in Windows 7. Windows 7 will create a boot menu for the two OSes, so it shouldn't negatively affect Vista. Just make sure you install on the correct partition.

Okay, thanks mep. I have no DVDs right now so I mounted it as a virtual drive within vista... So far it's working. I'm a bit worried about the reboots though. Anyone know if it works?

Okay, I got it installed, but now I cannot get connected to wifi. I put in my cd but it's lagging like hell while it's searching for the driver. It still is even though it says it installed my PCI wifi card. I can see why it's still beta!

Nevermind, I hooked it up via ethernet and it found all the drivers automatically online. Pretty cool.
