Dumb question!

I am at a loss, I have my computer set up to open links up in a separate window when they are clicked on, but the laptop is set up to only have one window.....how do I change it so that it opens links up in a separate window.

I am using internet explorer, I dont want to switch too firefox to solve this problem!

When you click on a link it opens it up in a different window and closes the other window down. How do I set it up to keep both windows?

tools>internet options>advanced

check it in the settings if "open all links in new window" (something like that) is checked

... or you can just hold down the shift button and click to open the link in a new window.
