What is the best way to clean inside of computer tower? I,m going to take of outside cover. What precautions should I take? Is can air a good option? Thanks Smitty

yeah, trust me. If you start cleaning with compressed air often, its cheeper to buy a air compressor. :P plus you get accessories with it :D

A vacuum creates a lot of static, if you have a Dyson for example, touching the bottom of the cylinder when it's on will give you a shock! Use compressed air.

hey is $10 for 3 cans a good deal...its time for me to stock up

I'd buy it!

Heh...When I was in Culinary School, one of my Instructors asked me to look at the class computer because it was running slow and shutting down. The software checked out OK, so I opened the case and sure enough everything was caked (not a light coat, caked) in dust. I started removing the PCI cards and blowing on them to remove it and after the first one, he said 'There's gotta be a better way', to which my response was 'Canned air'. Now, it was the morning shift of classes and there was no way he or I was going to leave to get some. Right at that moment we hear 'PSSSHT...one of the other students was using the air hose that we used to clean up flour with. Both our eyes lit up:) I unplugged all the cables and we brought it to the outside patio and let loose. There was a cloud that hung there for literally about 90 seconds. When he learned how 'fun' it was to de-dust a case, he did it once a week.
