Can someone tell me what to do about about keeping the dust out of my computer? We live on gravel roads and there is a lot of dust. I heard that pantyhose may work, is that true?

I used to live on a gravel road and I never noticed an influx of dust from the road. The only thing that was really on the inside of my tower was the normal house dust stuff, not dirt dust.

BUT, to try and answer your question I don't see why pantyhose cut and put over the vents wouldn't work. Just don't stretch them too thin I'd say.
 
your hose may work but on the other hand you will change often. Keep the tower off the floor. a can of static free air is in order from your local office supply. i take all computers outside once a year for a blow job.

Just blow it out more. Iv got an Antec 900, and its off the floor, but It still collects tons of dust. I have to blow it out every month or so. They do make screens, but you'll spend more time washing them or replacing them then you would just taking a blowing shop vac. What ever you do, don't buy the air cans, they aren't worth it. just get a small shop vac that blows. Make sure you do it outside though, if you don't your pissing into the wind :).
