DVD Authoring Software?

I have a bunch of video files from a TV show I recorded with a capture card.
Now I just need to get them burned to a DVD. I've Tried Encore CS4, DVD Architect 4.5 (Studio), etc. I've made a montage to use as the Background clip, so Motion menus would be nice. Tips?

I don't know why It did that, because I didn't want it to. But, Encore and DVD Architect were too Complicated for my likings.

What format are the files in?
I usually use Nero Vision.

They are AVI files, but I'm willing to convert them.

Nero Vision will convert and burn them perfectly.

My bad. I wasn't thinking that as my satellite receiver has a built in DVR. So I guess I didn't see the difference.

Sort of a catch-22 situation, DVR's are perfectly legal, but copying their material to a DVD is not.
