DVD burning program keeps crashing?

It gets that error. Used Power2Go and also my Cyberlink PowerProducer that came with my DVD writer, and that crashes also. Uninstalled and reinstalled both of them.

I have two gig of ram and 2.4ghz dual core processor.

Does anyone have any ideas why it could be doing this? I burnt a disk two days ago no problem, but since then it hasn't been working.

Will try to burn a MP3 disk today, see if that works. So any suggestions in the mean time would be good thanks.

Ok, it writes MP3 cds fine, so can't be a problem with the hardware, I'm all out of ideas.

Would you reinstall that program to see whether this error message display again?

I've reinstalled the program numerous times to no avail. Sometimes it gets half way through the checking stage then crashes with no message at all?
