dvd converter

ive got some dvd rips which are in rm format. I want to conver uthese to wmv or another suitable format so they will burn onto dvd. can anyone please help me in telling me where a suitable converter can be found on the net?
 
We're not suppose to talk about illegal activities, such as DVD rips. Either way, I don't know of any .rm converters right off hand.
 
WinAvi and Ultra DVD converter can convert rm and other popular formats with one click of the mouse. They cost $$ though.

Avi2Dvd is a good freeware converter but I'm not sure if it can convert rm.
 
I could suggest some programs, but since you have told us the purpose is to pirate dvd's, I'm not going to tell you.
 
well, if they are your own dvd where you ripped for backup purposes...

unless....

anways, most .rm convertors cost money. you will probably find one or two free ones, but has its limit on it... like letting u convert 30 seconds only.. etc

Unfortunately even ripping your own dvd's for backups are illegal, since to do so you have to break the disk's copy protection.

True, very true. However why would someone want to rip then burn their own home movies in rm format instead of doing a straight copy? The fact is, because he said he's "got some dvd rips", it's clear he's obtained them from somewhere in that format. Unless he clarifies the situation, I don't think we should oblige.
