DVD does copy on dvd disk

My new dvd doesnt want to copy anything on dvd disc, it copy without problem on cd disk but on dvd, in nero I change on dvd and I start to copy, then it finished to copy but the computer doesnt see any files on the disc. If I look on the disc I can see that something written on it but I tried some time to copy and to check in some computer and it doesnt work... Any Suggestens..??

Your sayin that it burns to CD and DVD but the computer will not open the DVD files, but you can see them?

No, when I burn cd the computer see the files and read them but when I burn dvd the compuer doesnt see any files but if I look on the disc I can see that something written on the disc.

I tried to read something from my dad's DVR on my laptop and nothing showed up. Odd that you're having this problem with a disk made in your computre, but I have heard of others with similar problems.

Hopfully someone has a better suggestion, but my first thought would be try some different software. If you're just burning files to the disk, try DeepBurner. It's a great freeware utility that's always seemed to work for me. Maybe that'll atleast eliminate if it's a software or hardware problem.

Have you updated NERO and firmware on drive?
Can you pls post the DVD drive and DVD media you have?

My dvd drive is LG GSA-H10N and I tried to burn on DVD-R and on DVD+R, nothing works.

Now I updated it and it seems to work but I still need to check to be sure that it will work all the time.

Actually it doesnt work, I tried to burn something else and it doesnt work me again and when I put the dvd disc in the dvd ram in my computer it writes me CD Drive...
