my cd/dvd drive reads cds normally but reads dvds really slowly. it used to be fine then one day it was bad and it stayed bad. could it be a problem with the driver?
It could be you can find out by using the device manager to delete the drive and then reboot Windows and it will reinstall it. If that doesn't fix the problem then replace the drive.
