DVD playback problems!!

For some reason whenever I try playing a DVD on my computer, the picture quality is horrible. It plays the DVD but the colors or all warped as if someone played with my color/hue/saturation settings or something. I use to watch movies all the time and never had this problem...but now and all of a sudden my picture went bad, not only when I play DVD's, but also when I play videos that I have downloaded from the internet like CS movies. Can someone help me? because I have no idea where to start...

Hmmm...

I would try this:

1. Reinstall the player that you use.

2. Install the graphics drivers (latest).

3. Try a different player to see if the problem still persists even after steps 1 and 2 were carried out.

could also be a bad codec, have u installed anything?

It might be time to replace your video card if the above does not work.

look at his hardware. I doubt it's the V Card
