DVD Playing Software

Can anyone direct me to some high resoluion DVD playing software. I downloaded intervideo winDVD but i said my resolution was too high and i would rather not change it. My resolution is at 1280/768. Preferably free software but i am willing to spend money if i have to.

There is no "high resolution" software because it's a standard. DVD's run at 720x480, and maybe something else for wide screen, I forget. But either way, you can't make it better than the encoded format.

Do you have any software suggestions? Or any suggestions in general?

I normally use Media Player Classic with the PowerDVD codec. But again, they are all the same.
