I recently made a minor film for school and burned it onto a dvd using InterVideo WinDVD. This is one of the programs that come with a windows media center. It lokked fine when i watched it on the computer screen, but when i watched it on the dvd on my 40"in plasma the picture was terrible. When it asked me for what picture quality i wanted to burn it as i said i wanted the best. What is cauing this bad picture. Is it the dvd, program, or etc. I bought the dvd's a while ago and im not sure if its because some dvd-r discs are higher quality than others. any help would be gretaly apreciated

What kind of videocamera were you using? And what did you use to transfer the video from the camcorder to the PC?

It was just a simple Canon camcorder. The thing is that we did another project like this whith one of my friends camer. His camera is about a year older and arounfd the same prce when he bought it. We put that video on vhas and iy looked fine. i don't see how a vhs could be better quallity than a dvd. A minor detail is that we used a nice mac to edit the last videi and we used a decent windows media center for this last one
