is there a way to take a dvd and cut out about a minute of it to use for a powerpoint presentation? Its not a copyrighted feature film in case someone was wondering. its a DVD that was created by someone within my company.

You would have to import it with a video editor, and then edit it and cut out the clip you want to remove. Then, you can easily insert it for powerpoint. For macs, iMovie works, but I am not sure of a good windows program.

Try Movie Maker. Otherwise you can download video editor freeware online.

Is there a way to play a HD DVD on Vista. I purchased a movie withoutrealizing that it was in this format (which I know nothing about) and notonly does Media Center not seem to be able to play .
