hey, i aquired sims 3 off a website the other day after days of downloading and when it finally downloaded it had to be mounted on a dvd+r dl, so i went to tesco and bought a pack of them, the file was then burned at 2.4x and it was all installed fine, only prob is when i play the game the load speeds a horendous and the game play is unbearably laggy. I got a shot of a real sims 3 disc and as its already installed i put it in and played it max graphics straight away and it was completly smooth. Any one know why my dvd+r dl is so much slower? it honestly has to be around 7x slower than the real copy
