DVD-R To DVD-,+R

Is it possible to get a DVD-R burner to be able to burn on DVD+R discs?? Because i have 50 DVD+R disc to burn on and my DVD Drive wont take them. Or is there any way to convert your discs to DVD-R?? please can any 1 help?? i have got a pioneer DVD-R Burner

Depends on the model but highly unlikely. If it is doable, you just need to flash the firmware to the latest version (see manufacturer;s website)
