DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drive inside of a old pc??

Yep! The burning reliabilty might not be what you're used to on a newer system but it'll work :) (well it should LOL)

It should work fine. But don't write CDs at high speeds, because the system may not manage to keep up with high transfer rates...

At 150 MHz the playback could be very choppy...
I saw glitches in DVD-playback even on a 500 MHz Celeron (mostly on Columbia Tristar releases, since their DVDs have better image quality than others).

Wouldnt be advisable in either way as high speed burns arent so great. :)

but, will dvds be able to play on the old pc?
It will play -- but it will be choppy as the P-150 doesnt qualify even as a MultimediaPC (which, i think requires a P2-333)
