If a game comes out in both DVD-ROM and CD-ROM, which would you want to get, assuming you have a DVD drive.

Yes, It would prabally have a few CD's and one DVD so I'd get the DVD,p and eventully, prabally not in a long long time EVERYTHIN will be in DVD's and no more CD roms so if you also like the game in a lon time even if its a oldie you cna trash your cdrom drive and still use it with the dvd.

take ut2004 for example, its 6 CD's!!! It owuld only take about 1-2 DVD's. Although i believe cd's are easier to make "backups" of if you needed to.

well dvd drives are backwords compatable to cd drives so that wouldnt be that much of an issue. esp with blu-ray coming soon eneugh.

i said that because i find it harder to make a copy of a DVD over a CD since DVD's have stricter copy protection or something.
