I highly doubt that. May be only if it's external DVD and you have some device with USB port that can read that info, but again probably not.
 
Assuming you mean in some type of CD Audio player, the answer's no. A standard audio CD player is not capable of reading a DVD. However, it is possible to use DVDs loaded with MP3s to play music from a DVD player. Also, if I'm not mistaking, there's even some type of Audio-DVD (data format is the same as an audio CD) But still, it requires a DVD-ROM to read it.

I agree you may be able to play Mp 3's on a DVD, but you still need to check your instruction manual. That is if you got one, I sure did not with mine.

Or as someone says, try a plug in to the computer with USB. I guess the big question is why you wish to use this as a storage media for music? It seems a memory card on your MP3 player would give you the best playback results.
