dvd to ipod

hey i have a bunch of dvd's sitting at my house and i just bought a 160gb ipod so i was wondering how i would get the dvd's onto my ipod

DVDs are usually encrypted for a reason :/
 
they encrypt dvds so people don't just put them on their computer and then they could upload them or give them to friends

Actually this is a tricky subject. It's not illegal to copy a DVD for personal use as long as you're not selling it, but it is illegal to use any program that hacks or bypasses the CSS anti-piracy encryption that most DVD ripping software contains.

So it's not illegal to copy them but it is illegal to brake the anti-piracy encryption. I guess you would have to find a software the does not do this for it to completely be legal. My guess you want be finding any kind of freeware like that but maybe I'm wrong.
 
well that's why i said encrypted xD if it's unencrypted go ahead the makers are dumb xD most movies are encrypted though :)
