hello,

My DVI input from my monitor looks different than in output from my DVI slot in my PC, The DVI slot in my monitor doesnt have 4 pins that the DVI output on my pc has. Ive read that those are the pins that are used for the VGA signal, Is this normal and can i use the slot ?

Thanks =)

Yes it's normal. DVI and VGA are complete different types of video output, however many computers and graphics cards will support both through the same port. The extra 4 pins means you can use a DVI to VGA adapter. If it doesn't have the extra 4 pins it means it's DVI only.
