Is it worth buying a 700$ graphics card just too use DX 10?
You mean $700 ones? They have ones for $160 even, but there not as good.oh i didn't know they had these. I thought it was only 700mb ones. But, is dx 10 really worth it A. and B., are there any games for dx 10 out yet?
The 8800GTX is worth it in my oppinion.
Kent.
But not the 8800 Ultra, it's just an overclocked and over priced GTX.The 8800GTX is worth it in my oppinion.

Halo 2 has been out for several weeks, and it is only available for Vista. However it's not a DX10 game.i think halo 2 is out know and that is vista only
The only game i've played was Lost Planet (DX10 version), and on maxed out settings I was getting like 20-40fps depending on whats going on around me.No, say Custom PC. apparently the 3 DX10 games out atm don't run too good on even the top end cards, dropping loads of frames and i think in one game it dropped to 10fps on medium settings DX10
lost planet comes out june 26 but there is also a directx 9 version so not a real directx `10 game[-0MEGA-];687921 said:I dont have the release dates at the top of my head, but I believe we will be seeing some coming out shortly. Some of the long awaited ones are Crysis and UT3. There is a DX10 version of LostPlanet thats out, but im not sure of the actual release date for the game.
The DX9 and DX10 demos have been out for a while. There is barely any difference between them, but it does support DX10, so it is a DX10 game.lost planet comes out june 26 but there is also a directx 9 version so not a real directx `10 game
