dx 4300 gateway computer

i have the dx 4300 computer and it runs low quality games perfectly like minecraft or any half life 2 games, but when i go to gta 4 the graphics card just doesnt cut it. im new to building computers (completly inexpericanced) and i read that i should buy a better power supply and i was looking to get this graphics card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=41125&sku=E145-0550. any suggestions on what power supply i should buy? looking for something under 100 for sure but prefferably under 50 dollars

If I remember correctly the 550 Ti uses between 125 - 250 W depending on load. I'm sure you could go with a 500 watt PSU and be fine, but better safe than sorry in my opinion. If you want to opt for a lower wattage (and cheaper) power supply then stick with corsair/silverstone. Both are reputable brands.
