DX10 Games question

You don't need hardware support to play the game. It just means that any DX10 features will be software rendered, thus possibly slow.
Its annoying that you have to have windows Vista for a DX10 card because what i would have liked to do is when i get my new system,Use my copy of Xp on my new machine but i want a DX10 card so this wont be possible (I think)
Soppose someone will make something that will allow you to play DX10 cards on Xp
But not legaly.
I didnt realy want to buy Vista.

DX10 cards work great on XP, if that's what you're wondering about. It's just that DX10 won't be available for XP and thus no DX10 games.
Yeah but still i would have to buy Vista because as you said no DX10 games will run on Xp or DX10

The way you guys talk about VISTA sounds like it's basicly windows XP that takes up much more ressource for useless eye candy. am I reading you right?

You will need a DX10 capable card to play DX10 games....not to mention VISTA.
Dirctx9 will work for vista fool.

well regardless, dx10 is not coming out for xp

No it doesnt, you can use Aero with DX9.

You could use an FX5200 with Vista.
As long as you have DX9, you can run Vista's 3D effects.

i dont really mind buying a dx10 card at all since it just preforms great but yeah I agree with you guys microsoft is ripping us off with this vista crap but it will be awhile before we see any real dx10 requireing games and im sure by then there will be cheaper dx10 cards and maybe vista will go down as well so just keep your hopes up
