Has anyone any idea on how to run "Battle of Europe" in Windows 7?
My Windows 7 has DirectX11 and this game requires DX9c and is Vista compatible.
It installs OK but asks to install DX9c, I refuse because windows wouldn't allow a downgrade anyway (I think) and so it finishes the install. I go to run it and it says D3DX9_26.dll is missing so I try to run it in "compatibility mode" but nothing happens when I click on run. I downloaded a patch from the game manufacturer that supposedly cures this error, still won't run.
I thought all DX versions were backward compatible and Windows 7 had all the library files for compatibility
