Dying video card? - 4670 1GB

Alright, so before i got my quad core, i started to get 60+frames on almost everything. mw2, cod4, kingdom hearts 2. now i get like 40- frames on kingdom hearts 2, i have to put everything on low so i can play mw2 at at least 40, and i haven't tried cod4, but i still don't know. how can i tell?

(EDIT)
i also forgot to mention that when i first got my quad core, everything ran at 60+ frames 100% fine. now everything is starting to drop. im not 100% sure on this, but i remember playing Bad company 2 and i seem to get the same FPS as when i did b4 i started having problems.

That doesn't sound like a dying video card. What are your exact specs, as in what brand and model of video card, what CPU you have now and what CPU did you upgrade from? Do you have the latest drivers installed?

alright specs

old-(came from)
factory built case, mobo.
amd athlon 64 3400+ single core 2.2 ghz
300w PSU

new-(went to)
cooler master elite 310 case
cooler master elite 460w PSU
MSI 870a-g54 mobo
Sapphire 4670 1GB (had with old computer.)
amd phenom II x4 955 BE (big jump from a single core :) lol)

i have noticed too that when i play kingdom hearts 2 on PCSX2, there is a DX9 (hardware) option and DX9 (software) option, when i put it on software, i get better frames with that than hardware

and i just installed the latest video card drivers after upgrading to 64 bit.

BTW when i first got my quad core, everything ran 100% fine at 60+ frames, but now it's starting to get less.

alright never mind guys i fixed it :) bad PCI-E slot, went to the other slot, booted up windows, it said "Installing drivers" looked and noticed that it was trying to install my radeon 4600 series drivers, installed them, rebooted, now everything runs fine! thancks for your help anyways guys :D can always trust people here on Computer forum

I would return the MoBo if possible. Right now you're using a 4x slot, and its not utilizing the full potential of the card. Unless you tried using the x4 slot first. You want to use the top slot on the motherboard.
